Covid restrictions are falling all over the world – yet, Canada remains a laggard. The federal government and some provinces have no timeframe or plans to exit various restrictions. Proponents of the status quo say they’re “following the science” yet the science fails to surface. Meanwhile, protests to COVID restrictions have been responded to by the federal government and their NDP proxies with unprecedented force and intolerance. The panellists consider where we’re at in Canada, the experience in Europe (with focus on Sweden), how we move forward and the reverberations of imposing an Emergencies Act that is earning Canada headlines around the world.
Speakers: Candice Malcolm, Christofer Fjellner, Irvin Studin, John Williamson
