Chris Champion

Chris Champion, Ph.D., edits The Dorchester Review, which he founded in 2011. He is the author of The Strange Demise of British Canada: the Liberals and Canadian Nationalism 1964-1968 (2010). He worked at Alberta Report magazine from 1994 to 1997, served in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition from 1997 to 2002, and was a senior advisor to the Hon Jason Kenney from 2007 to 2015, during which time he oversaw production of the  Discover Canada citizenship test study guide — still in use 10 years later — and the recent policy to expand the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve. His book on the Army Reserve and its struggles since the mid-1990s will be published this summer.
