Jessica L. Kuredjian

Jessica L. Kuredjian is a litigator based out of the Toronto office of Cassels, Brock & Blackwell LLP. Her practice focuses on Civil, Corporate Commercial, Administrative and regulatory litigation. She prides herself on excellence, efficiency, responsiveness and candour.

Jessica has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, the Licensed Appeal Tribunal and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. She has acted as first and second chair at trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Arbitrations and has also argued many contested motions and applications in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including motions for summary judgment. Jessica has also acted for clients on leave applications to the Supreme Court of Canada. Her writing has been featured in numerous publications.

Most recently, Jessica commenced an application against the Leaders’ Debates Commission on behalf of True North Centre for Public Policy and Andrew Lawton, seeking a judicial review of the Commission’s decision to deny them the journalistic accreditation required to attend and cover the Leaders’ Debates. On the day of the Leaders’ Debates, she brought a successful mandatory interlocutory injunction forcing the Commission to grant True North and Andrew Lawton Accreditation and Mr. Lawton was permitted to attend and cover the Leaders’ Debates.
