Peter Foster

Peter Foster has a long association with the energy industry and the West, and has covered the policy follies of both Prime Ministers named Trudeau. He is the author of ten books. His first, The Blue-Eyed Sheiks–about the Alberta oil boom of the 1970s–was a number one bestseller. The Sorcerer’s Apprentices, was a devastating critique of the National Energy Programme. Self-Serve, his history of Petro-Canada, won the National Business Book Award. His most recent book, How Dare You!, is a collection of his columns for the National Post, mainly those covering the threat of ongoing environmental lunacy.
