Do Something! National Book Tour

In his new book, Do Something! author and Parliamentarian Preston Manning calls on Canadians to renew their nation’s ailing democracy. Drawing on a lifetime of public service, he offers 365 action items – many of them aimed at conservatives – challenging readers to get involved and make a difference in their communities, on the national stage or around the world.

MRNC 19 – Red Deer

The 2019 Manning Regional Networking Conference (MRNC19) was held in Red Deer Alberta under the theme What’s Next? – a discussion of implications of the October 2019 federal election for Alberta and the West. The one-day event also examined lessons learned from the efforts of advocacy groups and advertisers during the campaign, what the future of Canada’s energy sector looks like and how conservatives can take back city and town halls across the province in 2021.

MNC2019 – Ottawa

The 2019 Manning Networking Conference (MNC19) took place amidst a period of social, technological and political change domestically and internationally. Canada witnessed the election of several new party leaders in the provinces and three new premiers in 2018. And for 2019 three provincial elections and a federal election were close at hand.
The theme of MNC19 was Ideas that Lead – asking what the ideas and policy promises will be that shape party platforms and how pressure groups and ultimately votes will respond at the ballot box.
The conference was highlighted by keynotes including Karl Rove, General Rick Hillier, Premier Doug Ford, federal Opposition Leader Andrew Scheer and lively sessions on immigration, digital government, China, Canada’s role in the world, pipeline politics, fake news, climate change policy and a host of other topics.

This year is a critical one for Canada’s conservative movement. WE ARE MOVING AHEAD with our Canada Strong and Free Network Conference in April, and look forward to seeing you there.

Don’t miss CSFN 2025 April 9-12.
