“Conservatism’s New Frontier”

British Columbia has a proud history of leadership with the conservative movement. From the days of Social Credit and W.A.C. Bennett, to the early days of the national Reform movement, and finally to the free enterprise coalition that endured through the first decade of the 21st century, British Columbians have demonstrated a frontier mindset when it comes to important values like free enterprise and personal liberty.

The rapid ascent of the BC Conservatives over the last few years makes it clear that British Columbia is an important pillar of the Canadian conservative movement. A distinctly British Columbian conservative spirit is on the rise, on a quest not for simply a greater quantity of what British Columbians have, but a new quality of life for everyone in the province. As we host our first gathering in Vancouver in some time, we will celebrate the wins of this movement, learn lessons from and network with conservatives across the country, and share wisdom on how to ensure British Columbia escapes managed decline to retake its position as an economic powerhouse and home of hopeful people living the good life.
