Hon. Stockwell Day was elected 9 times over 25 years at both the provincial and federal levels and in two separate provinces. He served the Province of Alberta as Minister of Finance, Minister of Social Services, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister of Labour and Deputy Premier.
Federally, Stockwell was elected Canada’s Leader of the Official Opposition in 2000 and subsequently served Canada in Government as Minister of Public Safety, Chair of the Cabinet Committee on Afghanistan, Minister of Int’l Trade, Minister for the Asia Pacific, and President of the Treasury Board.
He operates a consulting business advising national and international clients and serves as past or present Chairman or Director on a variety of public and private boards.
He is an active conference speaker and commentator on national and international television and in social media. His feature documentary “Israel:Lessons Learned From Oct.7” is viewed on a number of media platforms.
Stockwell is a marathon runner and ocean kayaker. He and Valorie enjoy being taught cyber skills by their 14 grandchildren.
