Lianne is a two-term Member of Parliament. Elected in 2019 and again in 2021, Lianne is the Shadow Minister for Rural Economic Development and Rural Broadband Strategy.
She previously held the positions of Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Agri-Food, (2020) and Deputy Shadow Minister (2019), for the same portfolio.
Lianne’s experience as a farmer, entrepreneur and political staffer (6 years) – has served her well as Member of Parliament. She draws on the knowledge she has gained and her work-ethic everyday, to assist the people of Lambton -Kent-Middlesex.
Lianne grew up on a vegetable farm in Grand Bend, Ontario and is actively involved in the potato business with her brother.
Lianne is passionate about serving others. She focuses her efforts on tackling the issues facing her constituents in their daily lives. Rural residents, farmers, seniors, veterans, families and small business owners share common concerns, and have issues specific to their situation.
