Matthew Bondy

Matthew is Vice-President, National Public Affairs at Enterprise Canada.

He writes extensively on innovation, national security, and public policy topics, with bylines in Foreign Policy, Macdonald-Laurier Institute, Centre for International Governance Innovation, National Post, Toronto Star, and other publications.

Formerly Matthew served as deputy chief of staff to the Premier of Ontario, and worked in senior advisory roles at the University of Waterloo.

He has extensive governance experience, serving currently as chairman of the Ontario Trillium Foundation board of directors.

A former Army Reservist and a dedicated volunteer, Matthew was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012 for service to Canada.
