Minister Rebecca Schulz

Rebecca Schulz is the MLA for Calgary-Shaw and Alberta’s Minister of Municipal Affairs, having previously served as the Minister of Children’s Services. She was elected to the Alberta Legislature in 2019 and sits on a number of committees, including a number of policy and legislative committees as well as Treasury Board. She first got involved in politics in 2009 working in the Premier’s Office in Saskatchewan under Brad Wall. After moving to Alberta, Rebecca was drawn to the united conservative movement to unite the centre-right and wanted to bring positive change to the province that was struggling under NDP policies.

Rebecca is an active campaigner and believes that hard work and staying connected with voters – most importantly, doorknocking – is the best way to both grow the movement and serve her constituents. She also believes unity in the conservative movement is critical – both at provincial and federal levels – to ensure free-market pro-growth governments can succeed.
