Scott Aitchison is the Member of Parliament for Parry Sound-Muskoka, and the Conservative Shadow Minister for Housing and Diversity and Inclusion.
Scott was first elected at the age of 21 to Huntsville Town Council. After serving as Town Councillor, District Councillor, Chair of Planning, and Deputy Mayor, he was elected as Mayor of Huntsville in 2014 on a promise of fiscal discipline, responsible governance and excellent customer service.
Scott was then elected to Parliament in 2019 on a promise to shakeup the partisan gridlock in Ottawa and stand up for the best interests of every Canadian from every walk of life.
Scott ran for the Leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada in 2022.
Under the leadership of the Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Scott brings his municipal background, real estate experience, and determination to get results for Canadians to the role of housing critic.
