From censorship and rage mobs to woke corporations and selective law enforcement – we are living through a time in which liberal democracy is being turned on its head.
This month’s Exchange Call guest is Dr. Stephen Hicks, whose book Explaining Postmodernism provides an account of why postmodernism has been the most vigorous intellectual movement of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Dr. Hicks provides intellectual history with a polemical twist, helping us understand what underpins and informs the weaponization of issues surrounding race, gender and identity that play out in our communities, schools, workplaces and even in our homes.
How can we address this cultural shift while defending the values of liberal democracy including free speech, reason and individualism?
